Initially, Les granges de Flaux were four large barns where the residents of the village putted up their sheeps. Today, after years of restoration, you can stay there in an exceptionnal ambiance. Almost nothing was changed to the buildings original structure. Everything has been restored and converted in a very meticulous way with old time materials. Old and new have been reconciliated, authentic stones and concrete, wood and iron. Pure and simple, beautiful without addition. To make a pleasant stay possible for our guests, we saved neither costs nor energy. From the common sitting area on the second floor you can enjoy the vista over St.Siffret, St.Quentin-la-Poterie, the towers of Uzès, till the hills of the Cévennes. The extensive breakfast can been taken outside where you can sniff the Mediterranean aroma of thyme, sage, rosemary, and the herbs which are part of the natural flora. The swimming pool is integrated and all surrounded by this calming nature, with the sound of the cicadas, the splashing water and an unforgetable view over the valley.
